Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 8 hours Shift: 18:45-07:15 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: RN license required Certifications: ACLS or ALS-OB, NRP, EFM, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Fetal Monitoring and Assessment Emergency Response Postpartum Care Time Management Description: This position is a rapid response role. Candidates must be able to start within 7-10 days from offer acceptance. Weekly orientation takes place on Mondays. The unit profile includes a total of 9 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1. The electronic health record systems used are Centricity and Meditech. The supervisor for this unit is the designated staff member. The patient population primarily consists of adults. Preferred Skillset/Experience includes knowledge of common diagnoses and treatments: Normal Spontaneous Labor Preterm Labor Gestational Hypertension Preeclampsia Placenta Previa Placental Abruption Fetal Distress Umbilical Cord Prolapse Postpartum Hemorrhage Personality fit traits include: Adaptability Team player mentality Attention to detail Stamina Strong communication skills Empathy Dress Code: Scrub color must be Ceil Blue. Non-compliant scrub colors, scrubs with slogans, graphics, or offensive content, and inappropriate footwear are not permitted. This is a new or expanded service line position.
