Description Managing, securing, and maintaining critical IT infrastructure supporting government Research and Development initiatives Supporting specialized, non-standard engineering software, rapid prototyping, and highly restricted air-gapped or closed-loop networks #LI-AM1 FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING Requirements Minimum of five years of systems administration experience, with at least two years supporting classified DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) networks (GenSer or SCI) Associates degree in computer science, cyber security, information technology, or related discipline, equivalent experience/certifications is acceptable DoD 8570/8140 Baseline Certification: Active IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE, GSEC, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) Must hold, or obtain within 6 months of hire, an OS-specific credential (e.g., Red Hat Certified System Administrator [RHCSA], Microsoft Certified Windows Server Administrator, or equivalent) Desired Skills Active IAT Level III certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP+, or CISA) Robust scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ansible to automate deployments, STIG remediation, and routine health Experience running containerized workloads (Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes) in R&D sandbox environments Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and NIST SP 800-53 Experience managing high-performance computing (HPC) clusters or GPU workstation Clearance Information SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL Travel Requirements 5% mostly local travel About Us Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
