CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this PositionGeneral Dynamics Mission Systems is actively seeking a Test Engineer for our Secure Network and Voice Product Development Team. This position is critical for advancing our automated testing capabilities, requiring collaboration within an agile team to convert operational concepts into practical designs and implementations. The role entails transforming existing design and new specifications into design, coding, and conducting testing and debugging.

- Building test automation into a CI/CD process (Jenkins, GitLab)
- Collaborate with developers to capture new and modified code.

- Create test procedures from requirements
What you bring to the table:
- Strong knowledge of a scripting language, preferably Python.
- Proficient knowledge of software tools supporting Integrated Development Environments (IDE), version control, defect reporting and scripting
- Ability to turn concepts, specifications, or requirements into design and code.
- Experience with testing and debugging.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.

Salary Note This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. Combined Salary Range USD $146,223.00 - USD $154,220.00 /Yr.
