Job Description

This urgent backfill position is ideal for a caring and professional Registered Nurse to provide exceptional medical and surgical nursing care to patients of all ages. The role requires effective communication and collaboration within a comprehensive healthcare team dedicated to making communities healthier.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and administer medications.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse license in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred: 2+ years of Medical Surgical experience.
