Urologist - Surgeon-Scientist Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Urologist to join our growing academic Urology practice in Buffalo and Western New York State. As a Surgeon-Scientist, candidate will enjoy a full spectrum urologic oncology practice, with a focus on bladder, as well as protected academic time for basic science and laboratory work, as well as the opportunity to teach learners of all types. Provides urologic oncology expertise using the latest therapies & technology, focused on bladder. As a Surgeon‑Scientist, 50% of time will be protected for basic science/clinical research activities, with the expectation of securing external funding for those scientific efforts. Participates in our multidisciplinary clinics & tumor boards, state‑of‑the‑art Operating and Procedure rooms, as well as our Men’s Sexual Health program. Qualifications Required Education and Experience License or permit to practice as a Medical Doctor in the State of New York. Possession of or eligibility for a valid medical specialty certificate in Urologic Oncology. Medical Doctor degree and prior full‑time experience in the specialty of Urologic Oncology. Note: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
