Assistant Golf Coach

Overview Preferred Skills: Comfortable speaking to a group (especially kids) Ability to step out of your comfort zone and be a kid Available during the week days between the hours of 1:30 and 4:30 pm Experience working with, teaching and coaching children Organized and punctual Comfortable working both individually and in a team of instructors Have reliable transportation (not a ride share) Capable of handling equipment bags Can adapt to changing circumstances in an upbeat and energized manner Co-Coaching Mini Golfer and Operation 36 programs for juniors and adults (Must be the priority of the position with classes and bi monthly 9-Hole golf outing earnings). Potential for sales commission in bringing in new customers to the program. Creating, conducting, and managing PGA Junior League. Other programs and coaching opportunities as available. Private Golf Lessons Golf Shop Hours (Optional) Experience Required All Candidates are required to: Take a background check Conduct a safety Training Complete CA Mandated Reporter Training Provide 3-5 Professional References from previous management All Candidates Must be: Able to carry up to 50lbs Able to work in all weather conditions The candidate who fills the role will be a W-2 employee paid on an hourly basis. Job Types: Part-time Essential Responsibilities Part Time Work with group classes Tuesday-Saturday Additional income can be made with private lessons on a 70/30 percent split for coach/academy on private lessons. Benefits Coaches will be paid an hourly pay plus a commission on each class they coach.
