Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and emergency respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. Responsibilities include assessing patients, administering respiratory treatments, managing oxygen therapy and mechanical ventilation, monitoring patient response, performing arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, and collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care. The RRT also responds to respiratory emergencies, assists with airway management, and maintains accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Current state Respiratory Care license (if required by the state).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP certifications as required by the patient population or facility.
• Experience with mechanical ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, high-flow oxygen therapy, and airway management.
• Ability to assess and treat neonatal, pediatric, adult, and/or geriatric patients, depending on the unit.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred.
