Speech Therapist in Seattle, WA

This contract position is available immediately and runs through the end of the school year, serving a school-based caseload near Seattle, WA. Utilize your SLP expertise to foster communication skills and developmental success at a critical stage in students' growth.


Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) to practice in Washington
• Experience working with early childhood or elementary age students preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized speech and language therapy for PreK and Kindergarten students
• Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to each child's unique needs and IEP goals
• Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and families to support student progress
• Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate, up-to-date records as required
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions regarding student needs
• Provide guidance, resources, and in-class support for teachers as needed
