Placement in the salary range will be based on relevant job-related factors like candidate experience, education, skills and qualifications.ResponsibilitiesAs a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be a pivotal member of the Corporate Business Data team, leading the design and development of advanced solutions that drive data-informed decision-making across ICP's operations. Reporting directly to the Business Data Manager, you will take a lead role in collaborating with our manufacturing facilities to architect sophisticated reporting and analytics solutions using data from machine sensors and production systems to drive strategic objectives.Drive the development and implementation of innovative reporting and analytics solutions that align closely with overarching business objectives and strategic initiatives.Provide strategic leadership in the end-to-end development of complex reporting and analytics solutions, leveraging extensive experience and expertise to deliver high-impact outcomes.Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to enhance the overall data literacy and analytical capabilities of the team, fostering a pervasive data-informed culture that permeates all levels of the organization.Provide strategic mentorship and coaching to senior supervisors, leaders, managers, and process engineers, leveraging extensive expertise to elevate their analytical capabilities and drive data-driven decision-making across diverse manufacturing sites.Champion the establishment and dissemination of advanced best practices and standards for leveraging Power BI, ensuring the consistent adoption of industry-leading methodologies and approaches across the organization.Undertake the rigorous testing and publication of complex reports to Power BI Service, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality, actionable insights to stakeholders throughout the organization.Lead proactive research and self-education efforts on emerging technologies and trends within the realm of Business Intelligence, demonstrating a commitment to staying at the forefront of industry advancements and leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation within the organization.Undertake comprehensive assessments of new technologies and innovative approaches, and spearhead initiatives to advocate for their adoption and integration across the organization, demonstrating a strategic vision for leveraging cutting-edge tools and methodologies to enhance data analytics capabilities.QualificationsPostsecondary education in Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Data Science and Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar field of studyPL-300 Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Certification Preferred7+ years of Business Intelligence experience:Designing and implementing reporting solutions in various BI tools as required (Excel, PowerBI, Cognos, Jupyter Notebook, etc.)Querying SQL/NoSQL databases/data warehousesDesigning, developing, and communicating KPIs to business stakeholdersCreating mockups and prototypes to facilitate report designTeaching others how to effectively build reporting solutionsDeveloping reporting solutions that are scalable, sustainable, and easy to maintain7+ years of Microsoft Power Platform experience:Developing and publishing reports and dashboards in Power BIDeveloping data models in Power BIDeveloping Power Automate FlowsDeveloping Power AppsAdministrating Power BI Service and Workspaces7+ years of solution design experience:Communicating complex technical solutions to business stakeholdersPerforming stakeholder analysis as part of Systems Analysis and DesignSoliciting requirements from stakeholders at all leadership levelsImplementing Design Thinking and Agile methodologies to improve solution adoptionMonitoring and collecting usage statistics on solutions once implementedWorking as an influencer and evangelist for data-informed decision makingFluent in:Power BIPower Query and DAXExcel, querying relational databases/data warehouses (T-SQL)Microsoft Office SuiteDesign Thinking and Agile methodologiesProject management and delivering on multiple initiativesCompetent in Python for data analysis (NumPy/pandas)Effective change management and conflict resolution skillsAbout the TeamAt Irving Consumer Products, we know the key to success is our people.We are a leading manufacturer of premium quality tissue products – including national brands Royale® in Canada and Scotties® in the US - and private label.
