Job Title: Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse Location: Charlottesville, VA Setting: Hospital Pay Range: 57.38 - 60.25 Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00 (Night 3x12-Hour) Contract Length: 13 weeks Candidate Type: Local Requirements: BLS, NRP, ACLS, PALS; PICU and NICU experience; previous NICU/PICU float pool experience; Dr Browns Infant Driven Feeding Certification (pending submission accepted); Epic experience; VA license (pending); adherence to UVAs float policy

Responsibilities:

• Float across various pediatric units including PICU, NICU, peds medsurg, peds PACU, peds ED boarders, and postpartum/mother baby.
• Provide specialized nursing care for pediatric patients requiring critical or intensive interventions.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, including UVAs float policy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality pediatric care.
• Adhere to scheduling requirements, including night shifts and block scheduling where applicable.
