Must-Have:
Must have a minimum of 2 years of ICU, ED, or transfer center experience.
Must have acute care experience.
First-time travelers will be considered.
Must possess critical care assessment skills and good clinical judgment.
Ability to follow algorithms is essential.
Must demonstrate professionalism and possess strong customer service skills.
Ability to learn quickly and multitask is necessary.
Strong computer skills are required, including familiarity with multiple applications.
Experience with Cerner or EPIC is preferred.


Description:
Facilitate transfers of any patient type from hospitals.
Deal with cases after the intake process, performing patient assessments, vitals, and clinical information gathering.
Identify and coordinate with accepting physicians and specialist doctors.
Maintain a comprehensive list of hospitals and services to request bed availability.
If the assigned staff member is an LVN, they will focus on referring patients to other facilities as needed.
Request bed placements and manage related tasks.
Utilize various computer applications including clinical systems and communication tools.
Manage transfer-related communications with professionals across different hospitals.
Must be available to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
RTO should be limited to ensure operational needs are met.
Dress code allows for scrubs of any color as long as they are clean and professional.
Casual attire such as jeans is acceptable, provided it is clean without rips or tears.
