We are looking for motivated individuals who are interested in building a long-term career and growing with our company. To be considered for this position, applicants must have at least 1 year yard driver experience.
JOB TITLE: Switcher LOCATION: Martinsburg, WV DEPARTMENT: Traffic REPORTS TO: Supervisor DIVISION: Container Management GRADE: FTE/PTE/TEMP FTE PTE Temp FLSA STATUS: Exempt Non-Exempt ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBLITIES- Pull trailers as directed by Traffic personnel in dock doors.
- Complies with all Traffic procedures.
- Organizes trailers in the yard.
- Communicates and contributes to department goals and objectives.
- Communicates any equipment damage to Supervisor.
- Performs yard checks as directed by Supervisor.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Has active/current Driver's License
- Good verbal communication skills
- Is able to organize and complete all necessary paperwork in English
