Switcher/Yard Driver

We are looking for motivated individuals who are interested in building a long-term career and growing with our company. To be considered for this position, applicants must have at least 1 year yard driver experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBLITIES

• Pull trailers as directed by Traffic personnel in dock doors.
• Complies with all Traffic procedures.
• Organizes trailers in the yard.
• Communicates and contributes to department goals and objectives.
• Communicates any equipment damage to Supervisor.
• Performs yard checks as directed by Supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

SPECIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATIONS (List specific skills required but not defined in Dimensions)

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience

• Has active/current Driver's License

• Good verbal communication skills
• Is able to organize and complete all necessary paperwork in English
