Qualities we're looking for:

- knowledge of dog breeds and their specific behaviors
An ideal candidate is compassionate and fun, already has canine behavior or veterinary experience, is comfortable with a rambunctious group of dogs of all sizes and being outside in all types of weather , can lift ~50 lbs, and can handle frequent trips up and down stairs.
Job duties include feeding and watering our boarders, assisting with check-in/outs, monitoring group play and keeping the peace, cleaning up the yard and any messes made indoors, giving baths when necessary, general cleaning, and of course loving on the pooches!
Pooch Palace is located in a rural part of Solon, Iowa and because of our location it is a requirement to have a reliable car.
We are currently hiring for a "weekend" concierge. Hours are fixed at:
Saturday 6 am - 1 pm
Sunday 6 am - 1 pm
Tuesday 6 am - 1 pm
Pay is started at $15 per hour.
