PRN Occupational Therapist

Job Overview Our skilled nursing facility is looking for an OT Occupational Therapist to fill a PRN or part‑time position. The OT will work providing exceptional, personalized care that addresses each resident’s unique needs. The OT will develop treatment plans and establish goals to improve functional independence, provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers regarding diagnoses and progress. Key Responsibilities Using therapeutic techniques, the OT will improve, rehabilitate, or maintain the patient’s motor skills and overall ability to perform everyday activities. The OT will assess the patient’s physical, communications, and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan. The OT will document treatment plans and progress and communicate effectively with the patient’s family or caregiver. Qualifications An active state OT license is required. Some SNF experience is required. Benefits This is an 'as needed' position, no hours guaranteed.
