Registered Nurse – Contract/Travel in Telemetry

Registered Nurse – Contract/Travel in telemetry for a 13-week assignment in Fort Collins, Colorado. The role delivers high-quality patient care, manages cardiac and IV drips, and supports multidisciplinary teams. Compensation exceeds market average and benefits support professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care to adult patients in telemetry and IMC units, ensuring safety and compliance with protocols.
• Manage and titrate cardiac, insulin, and IV drips such as Ativan, heparin, and dopamine, monitoring patient responses.
• Assess patient conditions regularly, document findings accurately in EPIC, and communicate updates effectively to the healthcare team.
• Float confidently across multiple units within Zone 1, adjusting care approaches to meet specific departmental needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for complex patient populations.

Qualifications:

• Valid nursing license (RN) in the state of Colorado or eligibility for licensure.
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications.
• At least 2 years of recent PCU/IMC experience.
• Experience with cardiac drips, insulin, and Ativan.
• Ability to titrate and manage cardiac drips, insulin, Ativan, and heparin.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system.
• Strong communication skills and physical ability to stand for long periods.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior neuro experience
