Responsible for operating power industrial truck to transport material within the facility. The role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, and computers.This is a 1st shift position. Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pmSalary: $21.00 HourPerforms quality checks on outbound and inbound shipments. Picks and stages orders for shipping. Load, unload, put away, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift or other power equipment. Executes ERP system transactions on outbound and inbound shipments. Learns to use handheld RF scanners and Warehouse Management System to fulfill orders. Maintains inventory accuracy. Handles and controls hazardous material on both inbound and outbound. Complies with 5S safety, housekeeping practices, and regulations. Completes all required safety training and follows protocol in all risk situations. Uses Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to tasks at hand. Certification on powered industrial trucks sit down, dock stocker and powered pallet jacks. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to forklift operation. Capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 75 pounds. Performs activities to evaluate and maintain equipment.
