Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) – Kansas

Start Date: August 25, 2026

Location: Wichita, Kansas

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Patient ratios typically 1:2, with 1:1 assignments for high acuity patients including post-CABG cases. Ratios are estimated and may vary based on patient acuity.

• 26-bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit within a large trauma facility
• Advanced critical care technology including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia equipment, and ECMO

• Comprehensive procedures including chest tubes, central lines, and medication drips
• Supportive team environment with experienced staff and dedicated charge nurse coverage

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Kansas or compact state licensure
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Prior experience traveling to large trauma facilities strongly preferred
