Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with us, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to gain insights into clients' mental health needs and developing tailored treatment plans.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions during individual, group, and couples counseling sessions, ensuring that the unique goals of each client are met.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards, safeguarding client privacy and information.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams by participating in case conferences to discuss client progress and refine treatment strategies.
• Providing immediate support and crisis intervention when necessary, particularly in high-stakes situations involving trauma or suicidal ideation.
• Actively engaging in ongoing professional development by participating in clinical supervision and staying informed about the latest best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The individuals you will work with come from a variety of backgrounds and face challenges including substance misuse, emotional distress, and other mental health conditions. Qualifications

Eligible candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field.
• An Independent LMHC License to practice within the state of Florida.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in substance abuse treatment, crisis management, or trauma-informed care will be highly regarded. Additionally, proficiency in telehealth platforms and remote counseling tools will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
