This is an opportunity to join an elite team at the Nation's #1 ranked hospital (U.S. News & World Report 2025-26). A demonstrated track record as a medical educator and/or researcher is strongly preferred. Most successful candidates will have advanced training in hospital medicine, general internal medicine (Chief Resident equivalent), geriatrics, masters level degree or relevant academic hospital experience. Mayo Clinic in Rochester uses a dedicated-admitter model. Physicians focus on either new admissions or caring for admitted patients in this system. Physicians share workload on all services with an NPPA colleague. Preference given to candidates with prior experience working in hospital medicine, or advanced training (fellowship or Master's degree) and demonstrated scholarly activity (such as publication record or additional training or experience at a top ranked academic medical center).
