Get better.” We have an opening for an X‑Ray Technician to provide radiographic and other diagnostic imaging and assist providers in the examination and treatment of patients. Employees in this role will provide x‑ray services to patients and assist clinical staff with other needs. We are looking for someone with a high level of attention to detail, a courteous demeanor, and strong communication skills. Compensation Radiologic Technologist: $38.00 – $42.00 per hour Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. $2,000 Sign-On Bonus Company Perks and Benefits Employee flat‑rate medical services at CRH‑affiliated clinics Flexible Work Schedules Generous PTO Plan Employee Assistance Program Complimentary Financial Planning Collaborative Work Environment Annual Merit Increases Primary Responsibilities Perform clinical intake including but not limited to obtaining patient’s medical history, current medications & chief complaint, obtaining vital signs, and record information within the electronic medical record. Explain treatment procedures and prepare patient and exam room for examination. Assist physicians with procedures. Perform diagnostic tests including eye exams, electrocardiographs (EKG), audiogram, spirometry testing, and basic nursing functions. Perform CLIA‑waived lab tests, collect labels, and process specimens for send‑out. Perform digital x‑rays with proper positioning, shielding, and settings to produce quality images in a compliant, safe manner. Document within the medical chart to include medical services rendered, test results, and supplies used. Perform patient callbacks, arrange referrals and testing, and schedule follow‑up appointments. Perform quality checks on medical equipment as directed/needed. Assist registration staff and perform additional clerical duties as necessary. Qualifications and Experience High school diploma Current State RT license required CPR certification Ability to accurately read and write medical terminology Ability to work 12‑hour shifts and weekend hours as needed Ability to transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher Basic computer skills (EMR experience preferred) Typing speed of 25 WPM with 96% accuracy Detail‑oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills Job location Dunkirk, Prince Frederick, Solomons, California, Clinton, Fort Washington, Reisterstown, Eldersburg, Germantown, Rockville, Silver Spring, Laurel, Frederick, Hagerstown, Bowie CRH Healthcare provides a professional work environment, strong clinical support, and a competitive compensation and benefits package.
