Nurse Practitioner - Abbeville

Job Summary The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) will manage acute and chronic care patients through preventive and primary care services in fixed and mobile health clinics, in-person visits, telehealth, and remote patient monitoring. The APRN helps educate rural health professionals and supports clinical research. Primary location: Upstate, SC (on campus at Clemson University and mobile health units). Performs other duties as assigned. Job Duties 70% – Essential – Clinical Practice: Deliver clinical care to patients in a team-based, patient-focused environment via in-person and telehealth appointments; collaborate with nursing and clinic staff; support disease prevention, wellness and chronic disease management; incorporate technology (MyChart, Carium); serve as clinical preceptor for students; monitor nursing care and CMA activities within CRH facilities. 10% – Essential – Compliance: Adhere to regulatory standards; document in the electronic health record; participate in continuing education to maintain licensure; support CRH in developing protocols; complete required training. 10% – Essential – Clinical Trials and Sponsored Programs Support: Assist clinic staff and investigators in implementing approved research protocols; complete training in protection of human subjects; support data management and reporting. 5% – Essential – Quality and Patient Safety: Identify quality risks, create corrective action plans; integrate quality improvement activities; provide leadership on quality improvement projects; collaborate with quality manager on accreditation and infection control. 5% – Essential – Collaboration: Develop and maintain professional relationships within CRH and with community partners; participate in community development and public health activities; serve as liaison with other clinical entities. Minimum Requirements Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing school with clinical experience. Work Experience: 2+ years. Board Certification: National board certification for Nurse Practitioner, APRN license, DEA Controlled Substance, DHEC Prescriptive Authority, Valid Driver's License. Preferred Requirements Education: Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP). Specialization: Family Nurse Practitioner. Experience in rural and underserved communities and mobile health unit experience.

Compensation Information Band: C11 (expected range $77,400.00 – $122,000.00).
