Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full-Time

Presbyterian Village North is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our exceptional in-house rehabilitation team in Dallas, Texas. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs for residents and patients experiencing physical, cognitive, developmental, or psychosocial limitations. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, works well within a multidisciplinary team, and is committed to delivering high-quality rehabilitation services.

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans

• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions in accordance with physician orders and established care plans

• Assist residents in improving activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, strength, coordination, and independence

• Assess and recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications as needed

• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques, safety measures, and treatment goals

• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company policies and state and federal regulations

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation team members, and other interdisciplinary professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes

• Participate in care conferences, team meetings, and discharge planning as directed by the Director of Rehabilitation

• Ensure all treatments are delivered safely, effectively, and compassionately

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapist license

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

• Skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred

• Knowledge of Net Health documentation system preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills

• Ability to work effectively with residents of varying needs and personalities
