The Concrete Laborer plays a vital role in the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete products within both indoor and outdoor environments. This position involves frequent heavy lifting and manual handling of materials using hand tools under the guidance of a foreman or supervisor. The role focuses on ensuring quality through careful mixing, molding, and finishing processes while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Mix concrete by filling and moving buckets with aggregates
• Lift and transport cement bags (approx. 100 lbs.) using wheelbarrows
• Pour concrete accurately into molds
• Cut rebar using hand tools
• Clean, grease, and caulk molds for preparation
• Remove concrete from molds and move finished pieces around the warehouse
• Hand sand and grout cement surfaces for finishing
• Palletize finished concrete products
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in warehouse and yard areas
• Handle materials safely and efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in construction or concrete work
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of concrete mixing and rebar cutting
• Proficient in hand tool operation
• Strong physical stamina for frequent heavy lifting (50+ lbs)
• Commitment to safety compliance
• Attention to detail and quality
• Effective teamwork and communication skills
• Good time management abilities
