POSITION:

Office Assistant – CU – Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish)

Bargaining Unit Position

LOCATION:

Chico or Redding Office

HOURS:

Full Time - 39 hours per week

SALARY & BENEFITS:

$21.89 - $28.47 per hour. Complete package of fringe benefits including Vacation and Sick Leave, Health Insurance, 17 paid Holidays, and CalPERS Retirement. Travel allowance for field work.

JOB SYNOPSIS & QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:

A clerical position that includes duties such as word processing, computer data entry, scanning, filing, and other general office tasks. Requires ability to set priorities and manage a variety of duties. Must be able to work with a fair degree of independence. Qualifications include the equivalent to graduation from the 12th grade and two years of related experience. Must demonstrate fluency in English and Spanish to qualify for bilingual compensation (ability to speak, read, and write).
