EHS Division Lead - CTX

About the role We are looking for a qualified candidate with extensive experience in safety to support our projects. This individual will be responsible for effectively integrating safety initiatives into the operations of various projects. Their duties will include maintaining processes and procedures to prevent injuries and ensure compliance with laws and company policies, while also minimizing the environmental impact of our operations. Responsibilities Preview projects and project sites before work begins to determine safety‑related risks. Visit active project sites to assess ongoing work conditions to ensure compliance. Work with project management teams and field workers to develop and implement solutions to safety‑related issues on project sites. Maintain safety‑related paperwork, including OSHA 300 logs. Maintain safety training certification, including OSHA OTI. Train company employees on safe work practices. Disciplinary actions for employees and subcontractors who fail to comply with minimum safety standards. Skills Required Ability to listen well and take in feedback from the employee's perspective without passing judgment. Knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations for the specific trade or activity being managed. Good record‑keeping abilities – maintain good records of all safety‑related activities. Ability to access heights via ladders or scaffolding; many construction tasks occur at heights above ground level, requiring hands‑on evaluation. Knowledge of the specific skilled trade or type of work the company does to design and implement effective solutions. Experience 8+ years of experience in EH&S roles within manufacturing, industrial, or high‑growth environments. Strong communication skills; hands‑on, proactive approach to solving safety challenges. Prior experience with controlled documentation and documentation change management. Demonstrated initiative in proactively identifying future potential safety risks and suggesting or implementing appropriate countermeasures.
