Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAs a Field Sales Representative, you'll be the face of Nielsen, recruiting households to participate in Nielsen ratings. Our field sales representatives spend 75% or more of their week in the field driving to and recruiting homes to be part of the Nielsen ratings.This role is a strong fit for someone with sales experience who enjoys meeting new people, working independently, and building trust quickly. If you have built relationships, met goals, and succeeded in customer-facing or public-facing work, this could be a great opportunity to bring those strengths into a field-based role. Candidates with backgrounds in outside sales, residential sales, in-home sales, retail sales, lead generation, canvassing, customer service, hospitality, restaurant service, community outreach, field interviewing, or other public-facing roles are encouraged to apply.Candidates must reside in the North Phoenix area to be considered for this position.QualificationsKey Responsibilities:Drive to selected homes using a company-provided vehicleRecruit statistically selected households unannounced and conduct in-person interviewsExplain participation clearly, build rapport, and encourage enrollmentCollect and enter household demographic and technical data accuratelyCollaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance proceduresMeet performance goals, quality standards, and customer satisfaction targetsOvernight stays may be required in another metro area based on business needs 50% of timeWhat are the qualifications?High School Diploma/GED OR 2+ years equivalent work experienceValid driver's license and satisfactory driving recordStrong computer skills, including mobile devices and common workplace applicationsExcellent communication and persuasion skillsAbility to communicate effectively in English for participant conversations, documentation, and safety-related interactionsAbility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekendsWillingness and ability to travel overnight up to 50% of the timeStrong sales, customer service, relationship building, and organizational skillsAdaptability to adapt to a wide range of home and community environments while maintaining professionalismPhysical Requirements:Must be willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to be outside, in all weather conditions recruiting preselected residential addresses.Be able to navigate stairs, elevators, walkways, and driveways (paved and unpaved) and a wide variety of entrances into people’s homesDrive for extended periods, including up to 8 hours a daystand and walk for extended periods throughout the workdayKneel, bend, and move through residential entryways as neededAbility to walk one-half mileAbility to lift 20 poundsWho Should Consider This JobThis is a non traditional desk job.
