Make a difference with us!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Safely operate and maintain a Wheelchair Van while in compliance with all laws pertaining to the operation of the vehicle while transporting patientsInteract professionally with other health care personnelInteract professionally with disabled, disadvantaged, sick, and injured personsComplete daily vehicle inspection and equipment checklistCleaning of vehicles (inside and out)Cleans all equipment following appropriate disinfecting procedures'Restocks and replace used lines, blankets, and other suppliesMakes careful check of all equipment so that van is ready for the next runMaintains van in efficient operating conditionColleting payments and issuing receipts if neededSecures all passengers in van per the Company Passenger Securement PolicyResponsible for safe loading/unloading of all passengersEnsures all reports, letter, and documentation are accurate and completed in a timely fashionMaintain a clean appearance, demonstrating courteous, processional and ethical behaviorPhysical Demands:Must be physically able to operate a variety of vehicles and equipment as required to meet the essential job functions of an EMS provider.Involves bending, sitting, kneeling, moving and lifting patients and equipmentMust be able to drive/ride in ambulance for extended periods of times without issuePhysical agility necessary to lift and move patients safelyQualifications:Current CPRValid driver’s license and good driving recordSelf-confidence, emotional stability, good judgment, and tolerance for high stressPossess good verbal communication skillsHigh School diploma or GEDOther Duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
