With a commitment to safety, quality craftsmanship, and teamwork, we take pride in delivering projects that connect communities and stand the test of time.Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Bridge and Highway Carpenter to join our construction team on projects throughout Missouri. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in concrete formwork, bridge construction, and highway infrastructure projects. You will play a critical role in the successful and safe completion of our transportation projects.Key Responsibilities:Construct, assemble, and dismantle forms for concrete structures including bridges, highways, retaining walls, and culvertsInstall rebar, anchor bolts, and embed items accuratelyCut, shape, and fasten wood, metal, and other materials using hand tools and power toolsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specificationsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environmentAssist with setting and stripping forms, pouring concrete, and finishing surfaces as requiredOperate construction equipment and tools safely and efficientlyCollaborate with foremen, engineers, and other crew members to ensure project timelines are metInspect completed work to ensure quality standards are metQualificationsProven experience as a carpenter in bridge, highway, or heavy civil constructionAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprintsProficient with carpentry tools and equipmentStrong understanding of construction safety practices and regulationsPhysical stamina and ability to work in various outdoor conditionsReliable transportation to and from job sites and willingness to travel is requiredValid driver's license preferredAbility to pass a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol screen, and background check.What We Offer:Competitive salaryHealth, dental, vision, and life insuranceShort- and long-term disability401(k) retirement plan with company matchEEO/Employer/Vet/DisabledCapital will give consideration for employment without regard to race, color, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other legally protected status.
