Supply Chain Logistics Associate

Job Family - Warehousing

Administration and operation of warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment.

Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.

Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.

Job Family Group - Supply Chain & Logistics:

• Performs supply chain and logistics functions, which may include, but are not limited to inventory control, transportation, materials management, and distribution.
• Creates integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers.
• Focuses resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes and establishes key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.
• Match incumbents responsible for procurement or purchasing to the Procurement job family.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma
• Experience in purchasing and supply or certificate in storekeeping management / business administration
• Experience working with the following operating systems: MFG/PRO, JD Edwards
• 3+ Years' experience in similar job level with proven track record in achieving results

Preferred Characteristics:

• Proficiency with computers
• Understanding of CLIENT processes and Systems
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and adequate knowledge of Planning and Inventory Control
