Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) setting
• Assist with cardiac catheterization and EP procedures throughout all phases of patient care
• Monitor and assess patient status before, during, and after procedures
• Float to the Emergency Department to serve as a patient sitter during Cath Lab downtime
• Support Med-Surg floors by responding to call lights during periods of low Cath Lab volume

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP environment
• Ability to float to other units including the ED and Med-Surg as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Prior experience in a fast-paced acute care or emergency department setting
• Comfort working in varied clinical environments across a hospital system
