This is a field-based, outside sales opportunity where you'll work directly with small and medium-sized business owners and decision-makers in your assigned territory. You'll help businesses and their employees access supplemental insurance solutions while building your own client base and long-term book of business.

What You'll Do

As a Direct Sales Representative, you'll develop relationships with business owners and decision-makers while growing your territory and client base.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Meet face-to-face with small and medium-sized business owners and decision-makers

• Present supplemental insurance products and solutions based on client needs

• Prospect for new business through businesses, referrals, and existing client relationships

• Build and maintain your own book of business

• Follow up with prospective and current clients

• Respond to client emails and phone calls

• Schedule appointments and conduct follow-up meetings

• Participate in team meetings, training, and manager calls

• Maintain consistent daily sales and prospecting activity

• Track and submit daily sales metrics and activity

• Set and communicate your weekly working schedule with your sales manager

• Develop long-term professional relationships with clients and business owners

No Insurance Sales Experience? That's Okay.

We're more interested in who you are and what you're capable of becoming than whether you've sold insurance before.

Our training program combines virtual classroom instruction with hands-on training alongside an experienced sales trainer in your assigned territory . You'll receive guidance on prospecting, needs-based selling, presenting solutions, overcoming objections, closing, follow-up, territory development, and building long-term client relationships.

This opportunity can be an excellent fit for candidates who have experience in:

Licensing & Education

• Active Health & Life General Lines license , or willingness and ability to obtain a Health & Life Producer License

• Licensing reimbursement available

• Bachelor's degree OR a minimum of 4 years of professional post-high-school work experience

• Candidates within 6 months of completing their degree may be considered

• Candidates with less than 4 years of professional experience may be considered if they have relevant or specialized outside sales experience
