Evening Caregiver Needed (Tues–Sun) – Non-Medical Home Care

Are you a compassionate, dependable, and energetic caregiver looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference? Home Helpers of Will and DuPage County is currently hiring Evening caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care for an adult female with Cerebral Palsy in the Orland Park area. 

In this role, you will help enrich the client’s life by providing companionship while supporting her independence, comfort, and daily routine. This position focuses on engaging activities, social outings, and personal care assistance.

This position is ideal for a fun, positive, and outgoing caregiver who enjoys building relationships while helping the client stay active and engaged. Caregivers are to assist the client in the evenings from Tuesday through Sunday .

Responsibilities:

• Providing companionship and engaging conversation
• Supporting mobility transfers (training provided if needed)
• Accompanying client to community outings and social gatherings such as movies and restaurants
• Assisting with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)

Ideal Candidate:

• Prior DSP experience (preferred)
• Experience caring for people with physical and/or mental disabilities (preferred)
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate with the care team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Enjoys being active and participating in outings like movies, dining out, and social activities
• Comfortable with providing hands-on personal care
