This role is responsible for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and equipment installation while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (CONVEYOR SYSTEMS) | RESPONSIBILITIES: Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair automated conveyor systems Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime Conduct regular facility inspections and identify maintenance needs Complete plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC repairs as needed Install and set up equipment and machinery Maintain inventory of maintenance and repair supplies Document all maintenance, repair, and installation activities Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards Assist with general facility maintenance and housekeeping Maintain material handling equipment (MHE) batteries as required EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (CONVEYOR SYSTEMS) | REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable) Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days. 5-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience preferred Experience troubleshooting and maintaining conveyor systems required Strong mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting skills Ability to work overtime, weekends, and alternate shifts when needed Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities Preferred Skills Experience with automated conveyor systems in a warehouse or distribution environment Electrical troubleshooting experience with: 12V and 24V AC/DC systems 120V/208V power systems 277V/480V power systems Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience using computerized maintenance management or work order systems (SAP preferred) Physical & Work Environment Ability to work in an active warehouse/distribution environment Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting Ability to respond to maintenance issues throughout the facility Availability for call-ins and off-shift support when required Take the Next Step!
