Senior Claims Specialist – EPL and Fiduciary Claims (Job Code 13574) AXIS is hiring a Senior Claims Specialist – EPL and Fiduciary Claims for its North America Claim Team. This role involves managing primary and excess claims for various AXIS policy forms, investigating and evaluating coverage for Employment Practices and Third Party Liability claims, and developing expertise in Fiduciary Claims. Responsibilities Handle and manage complex Employment Practices Liability Claims to determine appropriate valuation and settlement strategies, ensuring adherence to company policies. Attend mediations and monitor trials as necessary. Draft coverage correspondence on primary claims, negotiate complex coverage issues, and recommend outside coverage counsel when warranted. Mentor junior claims adjusters. Support underwriting and actuarial teams by maintaining data and analytics. Maintain and develop relationships with senior executives, brokers, underwriters, insureds, and outside counsel. Manage costs in collaboration with the Litigation Management and Vendor Management teams. Maintain accurate records of claim activities and update systems with relevant information in a timely manner. Qualifications Hold a Juris Doctorate. Demonstrate ability to work as a team and meet deadlines. Have skills in litigation management, investigation, and dispute resolution. Have experience independently drafting coverage letters. Have excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders. Experience with Fiduciary claims is a plus. Role Factors This role requires you to be in the office 3 days per week and adhere to AXIS licensing requirements. Benefits & Compensation Base salary range of $130,000 – $160,000, plus competitive target incentive compensation based on overall corporate and individual performance.
