Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Hybrid Genesis10 is currently seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, or Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role focuses on writing public cloud infrastructure as code automation using tools like Terraform to design and develop landing zones for core cloud foundational platform services. The ideal candidate will develop CI/CD pipelines for a cloud data analytics platform, integrating IAM, network, and security policies within an Agile model. Responsibilities: Write public cloud infrastructure as code automation using tools such as Terraform Design and develop public cloud landing zones automation to build core cloud foundational platform services Develop cloud services provisioning automation with integrated capabilities of IAM, network, security policies as code, and observability Implement built-in resiliency, observability, and enable FinOps as a part of infrastructure automation to enable data PaaS services Develop and maintain cloud services catalog for app developers and devops teams Develop CI/CD pipelines to build the cloud data analytics platform Collaborate with technical product management and operations, to deliver the engineering roadmap in an Agile model Partner with Information Security teams to engineer secure app patterns into Cloud platforms Assist in translating business requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks for deployment Assist technical Analysts and Infrastructure Engineers by ensuring that technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards Promote an inclusive and healthy working environment and help to resolve organizational impediments/blockers Requirements: 5-7 years of experience in enterprise-scale cloud environments, building highly available IaaS and PaaS solutions 3-5 years of significant experience writing Hashicorp Terraform configurations and modules Understanding of landing zones, cloud-native security, monitoring and logging tools, and Well-Architected Framework principals Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, subnets, routing, load balancing, firewalls, and cloud security Experience in DevOps models with infra-as-code, config-as-code, policy-as-code, etc Proficient in translating designs into fully developed Terraform code Expertise in programming and infra-automation tools – Terraform, Ansible, Java, python, etc Experience in the financial services industry Experience on technology and infrastructure teams Experience in Linux/UNIX system administration Experience in Azure data analytics technologies including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Purview and Power BI Hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week Pay range: $60.23 - $68.23 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
