Warehouse Worker I

Ontic’s Chatsworth, CA, site specializes in precision engineering, MRO, and new solutions for parts at risk of obsolescence. Our team is looking for a Warehouse Worker I to join them. You will report to the Shipping Supervisor and will have an onsite work structure in Chatsworth, CA .

To be considered for the Warehouse Worker I opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

• High school diploma or equivalence

• 1+ years knowledge of manufacturing warehouse operations and procedures

• Ability to use all standard warehouse equipment

• Strong computer and technical skills

As a Warehouse Worker I , you will:

• Pack materials accurately and efficiently to meet quality standards and deadlines

• Pull stock for work orders and sales orders according to requirement dates

• Perform cycle counts and maintain precise inventory records

• Maintain inventory accuracy across receiving, issuing, picking, and shipping

• Ensure accuracy on all documentation related to inventory transactions

• Report any inventory discrepancies directly to management

• Maintain a 24-hour turnaround time for kits and sales orders

• Access computer systems to issue, receive, transfer materials, and create packing list numbers

• Receive incoming shipments and deliver materials to and from internal customers

• Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure special requirements are met

• Provide excellent internal and external customer service

• Practice good safety awareness and follow company safety guidelines

• Work effectively with coworkers, customers, and other departments by sharing ideas constructively and positively

Hourly Range:

• $22.00- $24.00/year, based on experience
