Event Production Assistant

Event Production Assistants are the primary stage crew for events in the RSU Auditorium and other event spaces throughout the Rondileau Student Union; as well as Horace Mann auditorium in Boyden Hall, and the Crimson Dining Hall. Production Assistants are responsible for:

• Setup and operation of audio and lighting equipment for live events
• Assist in the construction of production sets for the Theatre & Dance department

A successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment; and interested in a hands-on learning experience. The work can be challenging, but the rewards are immediate & concrete: a successful live event. We are looking for candidates with the willingness & desire to acquire skills in stage carpentry, lighting design, scenic art, audio mixing, virtual events, peer supervision, and/or production management. Prior experience in any of these areas is helpful.

Ability to lift 25lbs

Must be a Bridgewater State University undergraduate student registered for a minimum of six credits for the Fall 2026 semester.
