Environmental Health & Safety Manager

As an Environmental Health & Safety Manager, you'll take the lead in steering our environmental, health, safety, and compliance initiatives to new heights. This is a direct-hire opportunity based in the vibrant city of Inman, where you will be a key player in minimizing risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do:

• Guide and execute the site's Environmental Health & Safety strategy on a daily basis.
• Coach team members to identify and mitigate hazards, enhancing our EHS culture.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, transportation, and security regulations.
• Maintain essential compliance documentation and serve as the primary contact for regulatory bodies.
• Oversee permitting, reporting, inspections, and follow-up activities.
• Manage EHS systems, audits, inspections, and compliance schedules.
• Lead investigations into incidents and near-misses, conducting root-cause analyses and implementing corrective actions.
• Participate in management reviews, job hazard analyses, and risk assessments.
• Drive Process Safety Management programs and manage associated audits.
• Support industrial hygiene monitoring and workplace improvements.
• Develop and deliver EHS training and lead emergency response preparedness activities.

What You'll Bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership in EHS programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM.
• Experience with Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), HAZOP studies, and PSM programs.
• Knowledge of ACC Responsible Care or RC 14001 systems.
• Experience with OSHA VPP STAR status in a PSM-covered facility.
• HazMat response knowledge and Confined Space Rescue experience.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
