We are excited to announce an opportunity for a full-time Vascular Surgeon to become part of our esteemed faculty. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional clinical and technical abilities, along with a collaborative mindset towards patient care. This role is perfect for a fellowship-trained vascular surgeon with strong leadership skills, eager to contribute their vision and enthusiasm to a developing vascular practice.

• Provide comprehensive in- and out-patient care for a diverse range of vascular surgery patients.
• Perform a full spectrum of elective and emergency vascular surgical procedures.
• Engage in the expansion of vascular surgical services.
• Exhibit excellent surgical skills, sound clinical judgment, and a genuine passion for patient care.

• Board eligible or certified in vascular surgery.
• Strong leadership qualities and a collaborative approach to patient care.

As part of this position, the selected candidate will also receive a faculty appointment at the Zucker School of Medicine.

Our organization operates Staten Island University Hospital, a 714-bed teaching hospital with two campuses that offer a wide range of health and wellness services. The North campus features Staten Island's most advanced emergency department, a Level 1 trauma center with 36 ICU beds, a cutting-edge education center, and a medical arts pavilion. The South campus includes its own emergency department and provides various specialty programs, such as geriatric psychiatry, behavioral health, and substance abuse services.

The Department of Surgery at our hospital comprises 40 full-time and 6 part-time physicians across multiple surgical disciplines, including general, vascular, breast, colorectal, bariatric, minimally invasive, hernia, trauma, plastics, pediatrics, podiatry, orthopedics, and ophthalmology.
