WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking a punctual, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited for an opportunity to create guests for life. Barbacks/Bar Porters are responsible for maintaining & storing glassware and other bar supplies in a neat and functional manner to support efficient beverage preparation and serving, along with assisting bartenders with various tasks.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE POSITION:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• The ability to provide outstanding guest service
• A desire to be an integral part of a growing food & beverage team
• Excellent organizational & time management skills
• The ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and guests through positive interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of restaurant & bar operations is a plus

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Responsible for maintaining & storing glassware, mixers, garnishes, and other bar supplies in a neat and functional manner to support efficient beverage preparation and serving
• Assist bartenders in maintaining cleanliness and sanitization in all areas of the bar including counters, floors, seats, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas
• Assist in the stocking and replenishment of bar inventory including liquor, beer, wine, soda, juices, fruit, garnishes, ice, and drinkware
• Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with all materials needed for mixing and serving beverages at the start of each shift, and throughout the shift's duration
• Promptly and efficiently wash and sanitize drinkware
• Be available to fill in as needed, including assisting the bartender with serving, to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the Restaurant Manager or immediate supervisor
• Complete all assigned checklists as required
• Attend and participate in all staff meetings as assigned
