Additional Job Description: West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department ofEmergency Medicine Seek an Urgent care Physician (ranks available:Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). Thesuccessful candidate will be expected to practice in Fairmont, WV.Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also beassigned to provide services at additional worksites in WestVirginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. In such instances, travelwould be anticipated and expected to fulfill said duties at theseadditional locations. Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area ofUrgent Care. In addition to providing excellent patient care, thesuccessful candidate will also be actively involved in teachingmedical students, residents, and fellows. Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreignequivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successfulcandidates must be board certified/eligible in said residencyspecialty. All qualifications must be met by the time ofappointment. The Fairmont Gateway Clinic Urgent Care location will be embeddedin a multispecialty clinic with direct access to many of ourspecialists and full lab and radiology support.
