Medical Receptionist

Job Title
DUTIES: Receives patients upon arrival to the office. Performs patient registration, responsible for third party coverage verification and referral renewals. Ability to explain patient responsibility including insurance copay, co-insurance and deductible amounts. Identifies opportunities for back billing of previous visits based on new insurance and forwards information to appropriate people.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have at minimum 1 year previous medical front office experience. Qualified applicants must be detail oriented with exceptional follow-up abilities. Applicants must also be self-motivated, present professionally, and be well organized.
