Registered Nurse - Urgent Care

Urgent Care Registered NurseUrgent Care Registered Nurse jobs in Somerville, MA let you deliver immediate care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced clinic environment. You will perform rapid triage, comprehensive assessments, medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, and assist with minor procedures. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner is required. You must have a current Massachusetts RN license and at least 1-2 years of recent experience in urgent care, emergency room, or ambulatory care settings. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is recommended. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and adaptability are essential for success in urgent care. Recommended skills include experience with point-of-care testing, EKG acquisition, and patient education for acute non-life-threatening conditions.
