Phlebotomist Float
$17.75 - $25.61 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a Float Phlebotomist for its Yakima, Washington location to perform blood collections and specimen processing across multiple patient service sites. The role involves venipuncture, data entry, and customer service with flexible Monday-Friday hours and occasional Saturday shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing and analysis
- Perform accurate and timely patient data entry and maintain information logs
- Travel between multiple sites as assigned and provide customer service
Requirements
- Valid Washington-issued phlebotomy license
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation for site-to-site travel
- 3+ months phlebotomy experience preferred
- 6+ months prior Labcorp phlebotomy experience preferred
Compensation: $17.75-$25.61 per hour; float incentive additional $2.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement; quarterly bonus eligibility
