About You
We are looking for a custodian to join our team! The right candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, time-management skills, and organizational skills.
Primary Accountabilities
The day-to-day duties of this role include:
- Service, clean, or supply restrooms
- Gather and empty trash
- Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, or vacuuming
- Steam-clean or shampoo carpets
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems
- Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
- Clean, dust, and polish furniture and fixtures
- Remove snow from sidewalks, using snowplows, snow blowers, snow shovels, or spread snow-melting chemicals
- Set up, arrange, or remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, or scaffolding to prepare facilities for events, such as banquets or meetings
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies, either manually or with hand trucks
