Job Overview

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Complex General Surgical Oncologist specializing in hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) and melanoma/soft tissue sarcoma oncologic surgery for a clinical track faculty position at the University of Michigan. The successful candidate will join the Division of Surgical Oncology with a clinical practice based at Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, Michigan.

Responsibilities

Provide surgical care for patients with malignant and complex benign conditions involving the pancreas, liver, GI tract, and melanoma/soft tissue sarcoma.

Collaborate with the General Surgery and Trauma teams, including 13 surgeons, 3 dedicated to trauma.

Participate in clinical research initiatives and statewide research projects as appropriate.

Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery.

Completion of fellowship training in complex general surgical oncology.

Clinical interest and experience in complex general surgical oncology, including disease of the pancreas, liver, GI tract, and melanoma/soft tissue sarcoma.
