You'll be part of a small, mission-driven team and have significant ownership over decisions. Some days you'll be rigging up Arduino prototypes, other days you'll be designing PCBAs for mass production in Asia. We're growing quickly so there are ample opportunities for career growth.What You'll BuildDesign consumer electronic devices incorporating microcontrollers, SoCs, wireless transceivers, motor drivers, sensors, audio, and LED driversLead electrical system development including schematic capture, layout, bring-up and characterization, production test infrastructure, and reliability testingCollaborate extensively with mechanical engineering, embedded software, industrial design, and product team members, as well as our manufacturing team and network of overseas suppliersGenerate novel ideas and prototype new product concepts and architectures to define our path forwardWhat You'll Need to Succeed5+ years of experience designing mixed analog and digital systems for consumer electronics or similar applicationsHighly proficient with ECAD packages, especially AltiumExpertise with SMT and flex PCB manufacturing processesUnderstanding of DOE, root cause, statistical analysis and other quality measuring techniquesBSEE or equivalent - MS preferredThis role is based in our San Francisco office.Why join Eight Sleep?Innovation in a culture of excellenceJoin us in a workplace where innovation isn't just encouraged - it's a standard.
