Structural Fabricator
The Industrial Structural Fabricator will provide support and assistance to various civil engineering projects. The Structural Fabricator will work with metal structures and mechanical components.
Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and isometric drawings.
Measure, mark, cut, fit, and assemble structural steel and mechanical components.
Fabricate items such as: Structural supports, platforms and walkways, pipe racks, equipment supports, skids and frames and brackets, handrails, ladders.
Use tools and equipment such as cutting torches, plasma cutters, grinders, drills, saws, and welding/fabrication equipment.
Perform layout and fit-up before welding.
Work with welders.
Check dimensions, angles, elevations, and tolerances.
Must have at least 1-2+ years of experience as a Structural Fabricator.
Must be able to follow instructions correctly.
Must be willing and able to follow all instructed safety regulations.
Must be able to make it to work on time and work the designated schedule and any overtime as needed with the proper notification.
Must have a valid Driver's License.
Must pass drug and background check.
Must have knowledge of materials, tools, and processes involved with basic building techniques and form construction.
Must be able to computer basic arithmetic functions.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to work full work schedule and any additional overtime as needed.
Must be willing to work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations.
Must follow all company and site rules and regulations.
Prepare and clean-up work areas, including removing debris and storing tools.
Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks and work areas.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting.
Will talk and hear to communicate.
Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects, materials, controls, and tools.
May be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.
Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off platforms/scaffolding using appropriate fall protection requirements.
Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.
Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses/spoggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves and leather steel-toed work boots.
