Product Demonstrator Part Time

Description The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of the products represented, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepting consumers and demonstrating products in a professional manner, and maintaining a professional appearance. Responsibilities Possesses aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented. Proactively intercepts, engages, interacts, and sells product to consumers positively. Effectively communicates the features and benefits of the product. Prepares and serves food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives. Maintains a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals. Maintains a professional appearance consistent with job requirements. Properly sets up and prepares the event table for execution. Achieves 100% execution on assigned work. Assists with preparation for client visits and completes audit corrections. Builds and maintains rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives. Completes expense reports as per company policy. Accurately prepares and submits all online requirements on the same day as event execution. Accesses the internet and navigates company electronic systems, uses Microsoft Outlook, and views assigned documents including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms. Qualifications Education / Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills: Proficient in using and navigating personal computers or mobile devices with applications and internal systems. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local Food Handlers Permit may be required. Physical Demands: Regular requirements include standing, walking, using hands and fingers to handle or feel, reaching up to 65 inches, talking and hearing, visual reading, stooping, kneeling, squatting, climbing or stepping up ladder, balancing, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), pushing and pulling a fully loaded demonstration cart, preparing foods and beverages using utensils, knives, convection oven, coffee maker, electric fryer, microwaves, and contact with cleaning supplies. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel. Physical Appearance: Professional appearance and proper grooming as per retailer dress code. Language Skills: English is primary; bilingual may be required. Additional Notes: Role not expected to exceed 25 hours per week; company may adjust based on business needs.
