Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianETC is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our Mazomanie facility running smoothly day in and day out. If you're someone who likes working independently, solving problems, and taking pride in your work, we'd love to have you on the team.Why you'll love working here: Clean, climate-controlled facility so you can stay comfortable year-round Great benefits that support you and your family Casual, fun culture where people genuinely enjoy working together Flexible scheduling options to help balance work and life Opportunities to learn, grow, and build your skills over timeRepresentative Responsibilities:Maintains buildingAssists in maintaining building HVACAssist with equipment serviced by outside contractors.Maintains interior and exterior lighting and repair's fixtures as neededMaintains building plumbing systemsMaintains outdoor grounds as well as sidewalks and building entry / exits.Assist in setting up employee workstations as needed.Assists in performing quarterly and annual inspections of the sprinkler systemPerforms preventative and emergency maintenance on factory equipment.Set up or adjust manufacturing areas as neededSupport all manufacturing equipment that require preventive maintenance or repairsFollows policies and procedures for maintenance and repairs, reports necessary changes when identified.Entering equipment and task data into SAPStocks suppliesEnsures building supplies, such as paint, bulbs, ballasts, filters, and belts are ordered in a timely fashion so that there is sufficient stock in-house when neededMaintains a clean, organized and safe work environmentEnsures after task is completed, floor is swept and tools are returned to the designated locationsCommunicates identifiable problems to management when problems ariseAssist with inspecting and installing machine guarding, storage for material, plant maintenance, aisle ways, etc. for compliance with established standardsEnsures priorities are met and jobs are completed on timeEnsures safety standards are adhered to at all timesEnsures that safe methods and practices are usedAbides by safety procedures, work practice controls, and OSHA guidelinesEnsures that personal protective equipment is worn when requiredOther duties as assignedSpecial projects and requests are completed in a timely and positive fashionMinimum Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent (GED)All levels of previous job-related experience will be consideredDemonstrated ability to work independently and perform multiple tasks without general supervisionGood manual dexterityKnowledge of safety proceduresAble to lift 50 lbsKnowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical work, and other maintenance areasAble to use power tools, hand toolsAble to legally drive forklift and operate pallet jackAble to operate scissors liftMust have a valid driver's licenseAble to work independentlyUnderstands and applies accepted helpdesk principles and practices
